My Writing Progress:
Once a month (approximately), we wrote for 10 minutes (timed) using the vocabulary we had been learning in class. Each time, our goal was to grow our word count. Word count does NOT include proper nouns.
Video Project:
In our video projects, we described our families and friends using the verbs “ser” (to be) and “tener” to have.
My Original Story:
In this end-of-year project, we wrote and illustrated an original story using the vocabulary we learned throughout the year.
Reflection:
In spanish one I learned the basics of how to communicate, read, and wright in spanish. During this whole process I was scared of failing, not only the content but the whole class and being a dyslexic this added an additional challenge. But I persevered and I am proud to say that from me working hard I have been able to learn how to read, wright, and communicate in spanish. Though I do not think that I will continue the journey of language or spanish I do want to go to these amazing countries that do speak it and learn more about there history and culture.
